Works by Women San Francisco Launches!

A new project launches today - the Works by Women San Francisco blog/website.  WWSF will spotlight theatrical work written, directed, designed, performed and produced by women theater artists in the San Francisco Bay Area.  The site will feature:

• Spotlights -  interviews with women theater artists about their process and career paths
  
• Perspectives - essays about issues that inspire and impact women theater artists
• Forums -  a place to share feedback about local productions
  
• Local/Beyond Local  - news about artists, companies, and projects that are making women visible and central both on and offstage
  

There will also be a comprehensive Resources page, a Reading Room with links to articles and essays about women in theater, and a monthly MeetUp Group which will attend local productions that feature gender parity.

You can get involved with WWSF by joining the MeetUp Group, contributing ideas or content for the blog, suggesting a show we should attend, alerting us to cross-posting opportunities, and promoting the site within your social networks.  You can reach us by leaving a comment on this site or emailing worksbywomensf@gmail.com.
