I was recently interviewed by Art Animal's Alicia Coombes, fellow dramaturg, director and writer. I'd like to thank Alicia for her insightful questions - the conversation was delightful and helped me understand myself better as a feminist and educator. Through the course of this conversation, where we talk about my current project, the Works by Women San Francisco blog, in solidarity with Works by Women NYC and the 50/50 in 2020 campaign, I was able to capture my own experiences in the world of theater and translate them onto, well, e-paper.
I'd also like to thank the incomparable Velina Brown, for her shout-out to WWSF in her superbly-worded feminist manifesto, Why It's Time to Bust out the F-Word.
It was also so much fun (and revelatory!) to be part of a directors' panel interviewed for Theatre Bay Area, A Director's Life, by again, the wonderful Velina Brown.
I am very thankful to be a part of this pool of fierce feminists.
